Job summary

Humanoid is seeking a Senior NPI Materials Planner to own material readiness for prototype and early production builds. You will translate demand into a clear material plan, prioritise purchasing, and align with Procurement to meet build needs.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Demand, and Production across London, Boston and Vancouver to address supply gaps and design changes. You will lead a six-week cadence, manage MRP/ERP readiness, and champion planning tools as we scale from prototype

Qualifications

• 10+ years in supply planning within complex manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with prototype and early-build environments.
• Strong understanding of production and demand planning and how forecasts become material requirements.
• Experience supporting Procurement on long-lead, single-source and multi-tier supply bases.
• Experience planning material for contract manufacturers or partners is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and own buy-side material planning approach translating demand into purchasing requirements.
• Own material readiness for builds from engineering release to shelf, coordinating with Buyers.
• Set up demand-to-supply interfaces with Demand and Production Planner, including cadence and handover rules.
• Feed supply constraints into S&OP cycles to reflect what can be supplied.
• Plan for long-lead and critical components with Procurement, including forward buys and buffer stock.
• Maintain planning tools and data, including ERP/MRP, spreadsheets and BI as we scale.
• Build a repeatable material planning framework for BOM changes and ECOs.
• Plan to a six-week design and build cadence with design releases.

Education

Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or a related field

APICS / ASCM CPIM or CSCP (desirable)
