Job summary

Motorola Solutions UK Limited seeks a skilled Manufacturing Operations & NPI Engineer to drive new product introductions and manufacturing readiness. You will shape processes, work instructions and SOPs, and collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.

You’ll bring 5+ years in production engineering or NPI, strong SolidWorks CAD capability, and experience with DFMA, PPAP and ISO9001/AS9100, delivering robust, cost‑effective manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
5+ years in Manufacturing, Production Engineering or NPI roles.
Experience from development through to production launch.
Quality management experience with supplier focus.
Experience with DFMEA/PPAP/FAI and ISO9001/AS9100.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI and manufacturing readiness for new products.
Develop and implement manufacturing processes, work instructions and SOPs.
Conduct DFMA reviews and support prototype to production builds.
Manage process validation, production qualification and CAPA.
Collaborate with Engineering for smooth design-to-manufacture transfer.
Develop tooling, fixtures and assembly aids; monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
