Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a long-term contract in Peterborough. The role focuses on NPI and manufacturing process improvement, with leadership in assembly and machine tooling, and coordination across teams to deliver rapid production ramp‑ups.

The position is office-based in Peterborough, paying £38.00/hr via umbrella or £28.00/hr PAYE, inside IR35. Experience in APQP/PPAP and strong project management are desirable to drive efficiency and cost

Qualifications

• Experience with NPI planning and execution.
• Strong process improvement and lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Project management experience with large production increases.
• APQP/PPAP knowledge desirable.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Manufacturing/NPI projects from concept to implementation.
• Lead process improvement and design for manufacture activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure cost‑effective, quality production.
• Evaluate feasibility, costs, and space for new tooling and equipment.
• Drive efficiency and throughput during production ramp‑up.
