Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer (NPI / Machinery Build) for Burntwood, UK. You will create 2D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams from customer specifications and develop clear visual assembly instructions to assist skilled Wirers and production staff.

The role includes process improvements within the New Product Introduction team. The salary is £40,000 - £45,000 plus progression, training, 34 days holiday, healthcare and a 5% pension.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with ability to interpret complex customer designs.
• Experience creating 2D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to create visual assembly instructions for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex customer designs and produce 2D electrical schematics.
• Create wiring diagrams and Ikea-style visual assembly instructions.
• Support New Product Introduction and manufacturing process improvements.
• Assist in project management of Production and Assembly and drive process improvements.
• Work within a 39-hour week with standard hours Mon-Thu and early finish Fri.
