Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer (NPI / Machinery Build) in the Burntwood area. The role offers £40,000 - £45,000 plus progression, training and generous benefits, with a 39-hour week and clear opportunities in New Product Introduction.

You will produce 2D electrical schematics and wiring drawings from customer specs, and create visual assembly instructions to support production staff. There is autonomy to implement process improvements.

Electrical Project Engineer (NPI / Machinery Build)
£40,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Training + 34 Days Holiday + Healthcare + 5% Pension

Are you a Project Engineer from an Electrical background with knowledge New Product Introduction looking for a varied role creating work instruction for a machinery build process?

Do you want to work for a business where no two days will be the same, helping with multiple design for manufacturing projects at any one time?

In this role you will work within the New Product Introduction team. You will produce 2D electrical schematics and wiring drawings from customer specifications, while creating clear visual assembly instructions and manufacturing documentation to support both skilled Electrical Wirers and production assembly staff. You'll also work to continuously improve the manufacturing process, with the autonomy to make necessary changes and have your ideas heard and implemented.

This company are a strategic manufacturing and outsource partner for machine builders and OEM's. Specialising in automated equipment, they employ over 200 staff and are looking to grow revenue to over £200 million in the next 2 years.

This role would suit a Project Engineer or similar from an Electrical background looking for a heavily-involved role where your ideas will be implemented in a position that grants responsibility, autonomy, variety and respect as a technical expert.

The Role:
