Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a machinery build and NPI role. You will create 2D electrical schematics and wiring drawings from customer specs, and develop clear visual assembly instructions and manufacturing documentation for skilled Wirers and production staff.

The role involves supporting New Product Introduction, driving process improvements, and taking ownership in a varied, autonomy-rich position with a focus on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Electrical background and ability to interpret complex customer designs.
• Create 2D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for machinery builds.
• Produce visual assembly instructions and manufacturing documentation for production teams.
• Support New Product Introduction and continuous manufacturing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting complex customer designs.
• Creating 2D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Creating visual, Ikea-style instructions for production assembly style.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Helping Project manage Production and Assembly - improving processes.
• 39 Hour week, Monday - Thursday 8am - 5:15pm, Friday 12pm early finish.
