Based in Sheffield, this role involves supporting product development, coordinating factory trials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality food products for major UK retailers.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting NPD projects across a wide product range
• Coordinating and reporting on factory trials
• Contributing to product improvements and resolving development issues
• Assisting with technical readiness and production handover
• Managing documentation and quality checks during development
• Collaborating with production, technical, food safety, and commercial teams

Ideal candidate:

• Has 12–18 months of experience in food product development, including placements or internships
• Holds a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• Is interested in innovation, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment
• Possesses good communication skills and confidence to work cross-functionally
• Is flexible, adaptable, and proactive
• Has basic knowledge of HACCP or food safety standards (a plus)
