Job summary

Jelly Technical in the West Midlands is seeking an NPD Technologist to join the New Product Development team. The role involves leading projects from concept to launch, coordinating factory trials, and ensuring successful handovers to production.

The ideal candidate has a food science degree and at least 1 year of NPD experience with chilled or short shelf-life products, plus strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 1 year in an NPD role with chilled or short shelf-life products.
• Strong project and time management with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD/EPD projects from concept to launch with critical path planning.
• Organise factory trials, document shelf-life tests and update product costings.
• Coordinate with factory, commercial and Head of Florette NPD to report progress.
