Job summary

Florette at Agrial Fresh Produce Limited in the UK is seeking an NPD Technologist to lead development of new and modified products for the Florette brand and own-labels. The role focuses on managing projects from concept to launch, including shelf-life validation, costings, and cross-functional collaboration across marketing, production and QA.

You will work full-time at the Lichfield site, engaging with multiple departments to deliver timely product introductions while maintaining high quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science/Technology or related field is required.
• Experience in NPD and development of chilled/short shelf life products is preferred.
• Strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development projects within deadlines.
• Research trends and feedback findings for own category products.
• Coordinate all stages of NPD/EPD projects with stakeholders.
• Organise factory trials and document validation tests (shelf life, etc.).
• Collaborate with factory departments to develop projects and communicate progress.
