Job summary

Zest Food Jobs is recruiting an NPD Technologist for a chilled food manufacturer. You will drive new product concepts from concept to handover, coordinating with Development, Technical, Operations and Supply Chain.

You will run tastings, benchmark against competitors, ensure brand and nutritional standards, and build comprehensive product presentations including recipe, cost, nutritionals and method. You will manage ingredient costings, pricing scenarios and supplier specs as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in new or existing food development.
• Background in food manufacturing; chilled meals experience is a real plus.
• Degree in Food Technology or Food Science required.

Responsibilities

• Run tastings and benchmark against competitor products.
• Ensure recipes meet brand, nutrition, taste, and shelf-life standards.
