Alexander Steele is collaborating with an established multi-site ambient food manufacturer in Durham, seeking to recruit a Senior NPD Technologist for their Technical team.

This role offers a great opportunity for an NPD professional eager to work in a dynamic food manufacturing environment, with a strong team structure and a focus on product innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch.
• Create and develop product samples for customer presentations and internal approvals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure project feasibility and alignment.
• Assist with factory trials, scale-up, and process validation activities.
• Maintain accurate development documentation, including trial reports and specifications.
• Stay informed on food trends, competitor activities, and new ingredient opportunities.
