Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company, Allscreens Nationwide Ltd, seeks an experienced NPD Process Technologist to translate concepts into scalable factory processes while ensuring quality and safety. The role is based in a fast-paced environment and collaborates with technical, operations, quality, and commercial teams.

You will drive trials from concept to launch, manage first productions, maintain trial documentation, and support continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Food Science or Food Technology qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in food manufacturing, NPD, or process development.
• Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
• HACCP Level 2/3 qualified (or equivalent knowledge).
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder relationship abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and passionate about food innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and process trials from concept through to launch.
• Manage factory trials, first productions, and process validation activities.
• Create and maintain accurate trial documentation, blend sheets, specifications, and quality records.
• Liaise with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate pre-trial meetings, sensory evaluations, shelf-life assessments, and launch reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, allergen controls, and site procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
