Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. are seeking an NPD Process Technician for a busy South Wales manufacturing business, based in Caerphilly. You will support development and launch of new and existing products within the food sector, working across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery.

The role focuses on NPD project management, factory trials and documentation, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:00 schedule and a salary of £32,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in NPD or product development in food manufacturing.
• Experience managing NPD projects through to launch.
• Experience with factory trials and coordinating production teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of product concepts, formulations and prototypes with internal teams and suppliers.
• Manage NPD projects from handover to launch, meeting customer requirements and deadlines.
• Organise factory trials and provide feedback on new products and processes.
• Collaborate with Process, Development, Technical, Operations and CI teams.
• Support customer and retailer submissions.
• Maintain NPD documentation including recipes, trial records, shelf-life data and costings.
• Oversee product testing and evaluation with feedback for improvement.
• Manage project critical paths to keep development on schedule.
• Support wider NPD team with delivery of projects.
