Job summary

iSQ Recruitment are partnering with a forward-thinking food manufacturer in the East Midlands to appoint an NPD Manager. You will own a varied portfolio of NPD and EDP projects across snack products and formats, collaborating with major retail customers.

This is a site-based, full-time permanent role with Monday to Friday hours and flexible start times. Occasional travel may be required; full UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food manufacturing / food NPD.
• Strong customer-facing experience with major retailers.
• Experience managing multiple NPD projects simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially aware and able to challenge requirements when needed.
• Good understanding of food product development and manufacturing.
• Passionate about food, innovation and consumer trends.
• Highly organised and proactive with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple NPD and EDP projects from brief to launch.
• Develop new products, flavours, coatings, shapes and formats.
• Work with major retail customers, presenting concepts and updates.
• Manage customer expectations and communicate project challenges.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Category, Production and Technical teams.
• Identify opportunities from consumer, category and industry trends.
• Ensure projects meet commercial, technical, quality and manufacturing requirements.
