Job summary

Advanced Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead the NPD and Engineering team in introducing new scientific instrumentation. The role involves delivering projects on time, defining cross-disciplinary specifications, and guiding a small team of engineers and technicians.

You will also support service and test, manage obsolescence, and work with external partners to ensure certification to standards such as EN61010.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of engineering development experience in scientific equipment or related field.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and to specification.
• Experience leading a small team of engineers, technicians and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD and Engineering team in new product introductions.
• Define specifications covering mechanical, electronic and software requirements.
• Plan projects with budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
• Transfer new products to manufacturing and support existing range.
