An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to work at an outstanding private hospital located in Central London. You will be employed by one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This renowned private hospital in central London is committed to providing world-class medical services with a focus on patient care and well-being.

Minimum qualification: NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care

Key duties include:

1. Assist the registered nurse in welcoming and orienting patients to the ward environment
2. Undertake patient observations (pulse, temperature, respiration, blood pressure) and record them accurately; calculate NEWS2 scores and report abnormalities
3. Provide hygiene care to patients, including bed making, showering, bathing, skincare, and mouth care, maintaining dignity
4. Support patients with meal choices and nutrition, observing dietary requirements and assisting during mealtimes
5. Assist with patient mobility, repositioning, and use of mobility aids
6. Prepare patients for procedures or investigations
7. Escort patients to other departments or facilities as needed
