You will prepare management accounts, review variances, maintain records, and provide timely financial reporting for planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing management accounts for not-for-profit/public sector.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ability to interpret financial data and explain findings clearly.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining accounting records.
• Ability to work with colleagues to gather information and meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate management accounts to give colleagues a clear view of financial performance.
• Review financial data and investigate variances, explaining key movements in income and expenditure.
• Maintain reliable financial records and ensure accounting information is complete and up to date.
• Collaborate with Accounting & Finance teams to provide timely financial reporting for planning.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing clear information for decision-making.
• Analyse financial results and present findings in a straightforward, practical format.
• Improve reporting processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
