Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure, via GTC, is seeking an Operations Manager - Northwest to lead the delivery of multi-utility projects across the region. You will prioritise safety, quality and customer satisfaction while driving delivery timescales and budgets.

Based home-based in the Northwest with hybrid working, you will manage construction resources, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and develop teams to achieve excellence in project delivery and business growth.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification recognised by an appropriate institution, or working towards registration.
• Significant experience in the utility sector.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and resources while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and construction of multi-utility projects within region and budget.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance across sites.
• Lead and coach regional construction managers and HR processes.
• Manage plant/equipment usage and material ordering to minimise waste.
• Liaise with clients, project managers and third parties throughout the lifecycle.
