Job summary

Last Mile, a leading UK multi-utility business, is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-utility infrastructure projects from contract award to adoption and closeout. You’ll keep delivery safe, on time and within budget, while ensuring quality, scope and regulatory requirements are met.

You’ll coordinate with clients, utility providers, contractors, asset owners and local authorities to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• Experience operating in the utility or construction industries, or similar sectors.
• Commercial acuity and demonstrable project, financial and contract management skills.
• Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multi-utility projects, keeping programmes on track, within budget and aligned to contract requirements.
• Plan and coordinate site activity, resources, civils works, plant, materials and connections to support smooth project delivery.
• Work closely with clients, utility providers, contractors, asset owners, local authorities and internal teams to keep projects moving.
• Champion safe, high-quality working practices, including RAMS, incident reporting, corrective actions and NRSWA compliance.
• Manage project financials, including profit and loss, forecasting, cash flow, billing, variations and cost to complete.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by managing risks, expectations, handover documentation and final project closeout.
