Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, operating under the Gather & Gather brand, is recruiting an Area Development & Support Chef to cover a mix of sites in the North, primarily Yorkshire and Manchester. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a typical pattern Mon-Fri 7am-3pm and occasional weekend support.

You will provide relief chef cover across Northern sites, coach and develop site teams, create menus in line with brand standards, ensure timely food production, and maintain high standards of food

Qualifications

• Experience working across multiple sites as a chef.
• Ability to develop menus that meet client needs and brand guidelines.
• Strong focus on food safety, quality, and timely service.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief chef cover across Northern sites, including Chef Manager and Head Chef absences.
• Coach site teams and share best practices to raise standards.
• Invent and create menus aligned with Gather & Gather brand standards.
