Job summary

Gather & Gather is recruiting for an Area Development & Support Chef to provide relief chef cover across Northern sites, developing site teams and menus to meet client needs while upholding brand standards. This role focuses on delivering high-quality food, coaching teams, and maintaining safety and hygiene across all locations.

The position offers opportunities to influence menu concepts, support mobilisations, and ensure consistent service delivery across the region.

Qualifications

• Provide relief chef cover across sites within the Northern region, including covering Chef Manager and Head Chef absences.
• Support and develop site teams, coaching colleagues and sharing best practices.
• Help sites enhance and develop their food offer in line with Gather & Gather brand standards.
• Invent and create menus that meet client and customer needs.
• Produce food in a timely manner to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Ensure all food is presented to a high standard and is "picture perfect" every time.
• Assist in developing and introducing new food concepts and service styles.
• Communicate menu requirements and order ingredients as required.
• Support operational teams during mobilisations, staff shortages, and busy periods.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards across all sites.
