Job summary

Smartsearch Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a countryside organisation for a practical, confident and personable individual to support shooting, conservation and member activity across the North West. This role is home-based (North West) with regional travel and a salary in the £30-£35k range plus benefits.

You must hold both a Firearms Certificate and Shotgun Certificate and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Genuine knowledge and experience of shooting.
A valid Firearms Certificate and Shotgun Certificate.
Full UK driving licence.
Confidence communicating with people individually and in groups.
Good written communication and basic IT/admin skills.
Ability to organise workload and work independently.
Professional and approachable manner.
Interest in the countryside, conservation and sustainable shooting.
Flexibility to attend occasional weekend and evening events.

Responsibilities

Visiting shoots, clubs, syndicates, gamekeepers and other countryside contacts.
Supporting members and responding to enquiries.
Attending country shows, clay shoots, trade events and other regional activities.
Helping organise and deliver shooting, countryside and membership events.
Supporting training and education activities.
Building relationships with external organisations and rural stakeholders.
Supporting conservation projects and promoting sustainable shooting.
Encouraging membership and wider engagement with the organisation.
Completing administration, emails, reports and updates.
