Job summary

Charles Tyrwhitt seeks a Field Visual Merchandiser - North to uphold premium VM standards across multiple stores. You will spend 3–4 days per week on-site, travel to various locations, and support store teams with brand presentation and seasonal campaigns.

You will coach in-store teams, review displays, and ensure layouts align with commercial goals, reporting to Head Office VM. This role requires strong planning and collaborative skills across regions.

Qualifications

• Proven VM experience, ideally in menswear or premium retail.
• Strong commercial awareness linking VM to sales performance.
• Excellent eye for detail, styling and brand presentation.
• Confident communicator with coaching and influencing skills.
• Ability to build relationships across stakeholders.
• Highly organised and able to manage multi-store workload.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Photoshop and InDesign – beginner level.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain visual merchandising directives across all stores.
• Ensure displays reflect premium brand positioning and commercial goals.
• Deliver seasonal launches, window installations, and in-store updates on time.
• Review store layouts, mannequins and product presentation to boost impact and sales.
• Visit stores regularly and provide hands-on VM support during campaigns.
• Identify improvement opportunities and elevate store standards.
• Coach in-store teams to deliver VM standards independently.
• Create ownership and pride in store presentation.
• Support onboarding of new store staff with VM training.
• Use sales data to influence VM decisions and adapt layouts.
• Communicate updates between Head Office VM and stores.
• Complete visit reports with recommendations.
