Established in 1984, with an active presence in over 45 countries, we strive to make the world a better and fairer place for those affected by poverty, conflict and natural disasters. IRUK’s focus is strengthening effective funding, mobilising for change through advocacy and awareness-raising, and strengthening programme development and delivery. IRUK works with various partners and institutions, from governments, non-governmental organisations and local authorities to grassroots communities.
Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is actively recruiting for the position of Junior Mosque Engagement Officer to be based in one of the following regional locations: Whitechapel, Manchester, Bradford, Glasgow, Birmingham or Leicester.
The Junior Mosque Engagement Officer will play a key role in developing and strengthening relationships with mosques, Islamic centres, madrassas and community organisations across their region. Working closely with mosque committees, imams, volunteers and community leaders, the postholder will support fundraising activities, identify new partnership opportunities and help increase awareness of Islamic Relief's work. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and community-focused individual who is passionate about building meaningful partnerships and engaging communities in support of humanitarian causes.
