Your new company is an independent Lloyd’s broker based in the City of London. They provide specialist insurance, reinsurance, and capital markets advisory services. The Lloyd’s broking house is highly respected and renowned globally for their market knowledge, analysis, and insight. Their staff are motivated and focused on client success. Due to growth in the Technical Teams, a permanent position for a Policy Wording Technician has arisen to support the North American markets.

Your new role
As a Policy Wording Technician, you will provide technical support to the North American markets. Responsibilities include drafting property wordings, contracts, and submissions focusing on legal and contractual elements, submitting contracts to reinsurers, liaising with stakeholders, drafting bespoke reinsurance contracts, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Additional duties involve advising broking teams, attending client meetings, ensuring contract compliance, participating in training sessions, and leading the annual legal workshop for the international wording team.

What you’ll need to succeed
You should have previous experience as a Policy Wording Technician, specifically with North American policy wording, due to the unique terminology used in these markets.
