Our practice is a market leader in the General Insurance space, addressing major industry challenges for a diverse client base, including large multinational companies, Lloyd’s & London Market, UK & European personal and commercial insurers, and reinsurance firms, from global reinsurers to niche players.

What Your Days Will Look Like
  • Providing advice on solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financial modeling, business planning, legislation, and reporting processes.
  • Managing and delivering a variety of actuarial and multidisciplinary assignments.
  • Interacting with clients as a primary contact.
  • Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams or with overseas network firms.
  • Supporting practice strategy, developing core product areas like IFRS 17, risk and capital, and training programs for staff and graduates.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior staff and students.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Recognized general insurance consultant or experienced in delivering significant actuarial projects within the industry.
  • Experience managing actuarial or multidisciplinary projects, including team development and project delivery within scope and budget.
  • Knowledge of reserving, pricing techniques, regulatory issues, and financial reporting, risk, and capital management.
  • Experience with Solvency II, IFRS 17, or related areas is advantageous.
  • Experience with Statement of Actuarial Opinion (SAO) and Lloyd’s is beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of broader insurance industry issues.
