Job summary

Pertemps Redditch Industrial in Alcester is seeking an NDT Technician to perform DPI and visual inspections, maintain NDT equipment, and generate test reports. The role requires interpreting drawings and adhering to defined standards, with a strong focus on quality and timely production.

Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting aerospace, defence or power generation components.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
• Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
• Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
• Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
• Generate work instructions
• Manage workflow to meet production requirements
• Prepare and authorise product test reports
• Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is conforming to customer product specifications and definitions
• Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on as timely basis

The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components, for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.

They are seeking to recruit an NDT Technician for their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
• Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
• Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
• Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
• Generate work instructions
• Manage workflow to meet production requirements
• Prepare and authorise product test reports
• Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is conforming to customer product specifications and definitions
• Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on as timely basis

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous working experience working in an NDT Technical capacity
• Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
• Must be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
• Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
• Strong team player

The role is Days - Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm then Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
