Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Alcester is seeking an NDT Technician to perform DPI and visual inspections to procedures, ensuring equipment readiness and timely checks. You will interpret test results and contribute to product quality on a days-based shift.

You will read engineering drawings, apply quality standards, and generate test reports while working as part of a focused, detail-driven team. The role includes on-site parking and a modern work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an NDT role and reading engineering drawings.
• Familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and targets.

Responsibilities

• Perform DPI and Visual inspections to procedures.
• Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for operation.

Job description

The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components, for the aerospace, defence, and power generation industries. They are seeking to recruit an NDT Technician for their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
• Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
• Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
• Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
• Generate work instructions
• Manage workflow to meet production requirements
• Prepare and authorise product test reports
• Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is conforming to customer product specifications and definitions
• Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on as timely basis

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous working experience working in an NDT Technical capacity
• Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
• Must be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
• Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
• Strong team player

The role is Days - Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm then Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm The company offer a clean, modern and friendly working environment, staff social events, on site parking.
