Job summary

EJ Legal Limited is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to lead on construction work within a growing practice. You will work closely with the lead partner and a broader real estate team, advising on development and engineering projects across sectors.

The role focuses on non-contentious construction, client development, and contributing to the firm’s expansion plans with a practical, commercial approach.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years’ PQE or equivalent in non-contentious construction.
• Familiarity with different procurement routes.
• Experience with standard forms such as JCT, NEC or FIDIC.
• Practical, commercial approach and interest in developing client relationships.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to a growing team.

A growing construction and engineering practice is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to take a central role in its next phase of development.

The role

Working closely with the lead partner and colleagues across the wider real estate practice, you’ll advise on the construction aspects of development and engineering projects across a range of sectors.

About you

You’ll have approximately 3–6 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience, gained in a recognised non-contentious construction practice.

You should bring:

• Familiarity with different procurement routes and a broad range of construction documentation.
• Experience working with standard forms such as JCT, NEC or FIDIC—you don’t need experience of all three.
• A practical, commercial approach and an interest in developing client relationships.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to a growing team.
