About the job you're considering

A Data Management activity which includes the receipt and quality checking of operational data regarding manufacturing concessions, entry of this data into a management tool for analysis, processing & reporting, liaising with on-site Altran engineers, monitoring customer SAP Concessions system and allocation of work to the permanent and subcontract MRB team.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

1. Registering and Quality Check of data received
2. Identifying and extracting engineering data of interest including repeats of previous data entries / engineering issues
3. Validate and clarify the data, resolving queries with the originator(s) and/or specialist engineers
4. Format and load the data for entry into management tool
5. Allocate work to onsite and remote engineering teams
6. Monitor and progress data through an agreed work flow process
7. Collate data at the end of the process
8. Issue the resultant product
9. Intelligently archive the data once issued

Your skills and experience

1. Works well in a team, but can also work on own initiative
2. Understanding of Engineering/Manufacturing drawings, terms and processes
3. Excellent organisational, communication and people skills
4. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to spot errors in both numerical data and text
5. Computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft office packages
6. Methodical and logical approach to tasks, comfortable with working to deadlines
7. Eager and quick to learn new skills
8. Experience in using SAP would be of benefit

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
