They possess extensive knowledge of mold tooling, die tooling, machining, and assembly techniques, and focus on optimizing and standardizing manufacturing processes within the environment. These teams enable TE plants to meet TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) requirements, implement Centers of Excellence (COE), and share Best Demonstrated Practices (BDPs). They design and develop manufacturing processes and automation platforms for new product development and existing product optimization. 2. Deliver projects to increase capacity, support product sustaining, new product introduction, migration, or process improvements to enhance site productivity.
  3. Analyze data to solve production and technical problems, including justifications and payback calculations for CAPEX projects.
  4. Maintain process controls, documentation, machine recipes, BOM & routes, PFMEA, and specifications.
  5. Control and document process changes according to procedures, including customer and agency notifications.
  6. Address customer complaints with robust solutions within business timeframes.
  7. Ensure activities are carried out safely, maintaining safe working practices and reporting hazards promptly.
  8. Support technical, planning, and production managers through regular communication.
  9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to meet targets.
  10. Address in-process quality issues and non-conformances.
  11. Respond to global sales team requests for non-standard products.
  12. Participate in daily operations meetings and assist in resolving business issues.

Background Requirements

  1. Experience in extrusion or wire and cable manufacturing.

  5. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  8. Flexibility to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  9. Understanding of manufacturing IT and MS applications.
