Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role requires working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  1. Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Assign and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management, liaising with traffic providers, regional control, and field teams.
  7. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies during power loss issues.
Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
