Job summary

Lanes Group in the UK is seeking a Drainage Patch Lining & Cutting Engineer to carry out rehabilitation and patch lining on drainage networks. Based near Iver/Colnbrook, the role involves removal of obstructions using Picote milling machines and robotic cutters, plus no-dig repairs to restore flow and integrity.

You will travel with a two-person team, work 50 hours a week, and operate from a van to residential sites. A valid UK driving licence and strong HSE awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage, sewer rehabilitation or utilities industry.
• Experience using drainage equipment and mechanical tools.
• Understanding of drainage and sewer systems; mechanically minded.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person team using a van.
• Repair and maintain drainage systems; install patch liners for first-time fixes.
• Use Picote system to remove obstructions beyond water jetting capabilities.
• Survey drainage networks and produce reports with surveying equipment.
• Record job reports accurately and deliver good customer service.
