Job summary

St Andrews Medical Practice is seeking a Primary Care Research and Care Coordinator to support the NIHR portfolio across Barnet and North Thames. You will work with academics, GP practices, clinicians and community partners to promote research, recruit participants and ensure smooth study delivery within primary care.

The role combines research coordination with patient care, acting as a link between the Research Unit, the practice and external organisations to progress actions, manage pathways

Qualifications

• GCSE-level education or equivalent
• Experience in administrative, healthcare or research settings
• Strong communication, organisational and IT skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate NIHR research studies set-up and delivery, including administration, data collection and participant engagement
• Support care coordination activities, navigate patient pathways and liaise with GP practices and community services
• Engage patients and public, coordinate meetings, produce information and promote research opportunities
• Maintain accurate study records and ensure governance and data protection standards
• Support practice systems development and working relationships with NHS, academic and community partners
