Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Nurse/Practitioner to join the adult Research Delivery Team. The role supports NIHR portfolio studies, ensures GCP standards, and provides information and support to patients entering trials. Training and mentorship are offered.

You will identify eligible patients, recruit to trials, coordinate treatment and data collection, and perform phlebotomy/ECG as per protocols. Informal visits encouraged.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.
• Experience or training in clinical research delivery is preferred.
• Ability to perform extended nursing skills in line with study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients eligible for NIHR portfolio studies and provide trial information.
• Recruit patients to trials using eligibility criteria and coordinate treatment, assessments and data collection.
• Perform trial-related procedures such as phlebotomy and ECG as required by protocols.
