Job summary

IKEA Peterborough is hiring a Warehouse Operative to support our customer distribution centre. You’ll join a lively team handling goods, packing and maintaining accurate stock records in a night shift role from 10pm to 6am.

We offer an hourly rate of £13.45 plus a forklift allowance (£1.50) and nightshift premium (£2.25). Full-time, 40 hours across five shifts with alternate weekends. Benefits include a 15% discount portal and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 due to health and safety regulations.
• Experience using technical equipment to improve productivity.
• Ability to prioritise and organise workload with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods with accuracy and pick/pack orders.
• Maintain accurate stock records and report variances.
• Work around heavy machinery such as forklift trucks safely.
• Handle all products with proper manual handling practices.
