We are recruiting for a nightshift Support Worker to join our Supported Accommodation programme in Glasgow.
Supported Accommodation Glasgow provides a safe, secure, 24-hour supportive service to 26 young people experiencing homelessness in the Glasgow area. The nightshift support worker will be ensure the wellbeing of the people we support, maintain building security, respond to emergencies and record all relevant information to ensure continuity of support.
We are Right There, a charity that recently celebrated our 200th anniversary. We provide tailored support for people, at home, and in the community. We are here for people who are living with the effects of homelessness, poverty, substance use, or family breakdowns.
Last year we supported almost 4,000 individuals, helping to prevent them from becoming homeless or separated from the people they love. Every person’s story is unique, and everyone’s route home is different - it doesn’t matter what the situation is – we’re not here to judge, only to help.

We’re looking for you to have gained relevant experience from working in a similar role supporting vulnerable people, and to ideally have an understanding of the effects of homelessness such as trauma, poor mental health, poverty. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to build compassionate and respectful relationships with the people we support.
Shifts are worked on a 4 on, 4 off basis, one weekend in 4:
Monday to Friday 21:45-08:15
Saturday/Sunday 20:00-08:00
