Job summary

Booker is seeking a Nightshift Replenishment Supervisor to lead a busy branch, coaching the team to ensure excellent on-shelf availability and safe working practices. You may take duty manager responsibilities with full training provided.

There are real progression opportunities across the Booker Group, with many supervisors moving into Store Management roles. The role operates on a 5/7 basis, with branch opening times varying by location.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and staff.
• Strong focus on store standards and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team complies with legal standards and company procedures.
• Reduce stock loss by addressing shrinkage and wastage.
• Control replenishment costs by efficient handling and space planning.
• Coordinate with stock control and delivery to resolve off-sales issues.
• Maintain on-shelf availability and customer service standards.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nightshift Replenishment Supervisor to manage one of our busy branches. A challenging role that will need leadership and drive as you coach your team to deliver great on shelf availability for our valued customers. Keeping your teamfocused on delivering great results and working in a safe mannerwill be key.The role may involve some duty managementwhere full training will be given.

You will be responsible for

Ensuring that the team comply with legal standards and company procedures at all times.

Reducing stock loss by challenging causes of shrinkage and wastage

Reducing replenishment costs, by ensuring stock is handled efficiently at all times, products have appropriate space for rate of sale and accuracy and security in the goods receiving department

Working with the stock control and delivery teams to resolve causes of off-sales

Effective replenishment to ensure that the branch maintains availability for our customers

You will need

To be successful in this role your skills and experience will include:

Passionate about providing exceptional operations standards for our customers

Flexible, adaptable and enjoys working with, as well, managing a team

An excellent communicator and have some experience in supervising or managing a team.

Practical experience in the food retail trade.
