Job summary

Booker Group plc in Cardiff is seeking a Nightshift Replenishment Supervisor to lead a busy branch team. You will coach staff to maintain great on-shelf availability, drive efficient replenishment, and ensure safety and compliance.

This role operates 5/7 days with opening times that vary by branch. A clear path for progression exists across Booker Group, with a comprehensive benefits package and Tesco-linked colleague programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with some experience in supervising or managing a team.
• Practical experience in the food retail trade.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the team comply with legal standards and company procedures at all times.
• Reducing stock loss by challenging causes of shrinkage and wastage.
• Reducing replenishment costs by ensuring stock is handled efficiently and has space for rate of sale; ensuring accuracy and security in goods receiving.
• Working with stock control and delivery teams to resolve causes of off-sales.
• Ensure effective replenishment to maintain branch availability for customers.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nightshift Replenishment Supervisor to manage one of our busy branches. A challenging role that will need leadership and drive as you coach your team to deliver great on shelf availability for our valued customers. Keeping your teamfocused on delivering great results and working in a safe mannerwill be key.The role may involve some duty managementwhere full training will be given.

You will be responsible for

Ensuring that the team comply with legal standards and company procedures at all times.

Reducing stock loss by challenging causes of shrinkage and wastage

Reducing replenishment costs, by ensuring stock is handled efficiently at all times, products have appropriate space for rate of sale and accuracy and security in the goods receiving department

Working with the stock control and delivery teams to resolve causes of off-sales

Effective replenishment to ensure that the branch maintains availability for our customers

You will need

Flexible, adaptable and enjoys working with, as well, managing a team
