Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking experienced Nightshift MOT Testers at the Birtley Motorstore to join our team. You will conduct MOT tests to DVSA standards, repair or replace parts, and maintain equipment while working on a night shift from 7:30pm to 7am, Monday to Thursday.

We offer a salary from £48,000 with potential performance bonuses up to £9,000 every three years, overtime paid at time and a half, 26.5 days of annual leave, and training to become an EV-accredited Technician.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving license is essential.
• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 is required.
• Minimum of one year’s experience as an MOT Tester.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Repair or replace broken or defective parts as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in good condition.
