Octane Recruitment Limited is hiring an experienced HGV Technician for a night shift in West Thurrock. You will service and repair HGVs on a busy main dealer workshop, using diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure safety standards.

Applicants must hold Level 3 HGV qualification or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence, and the right to work in the UK. Overtime paid at time-and-a-half with a 4-day week and development plans are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong HGV servicing, maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to required quality standards.
• Work in line with workshop procedures and safety standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
• Ensure vehicles meet required safety and maintenance standards.
• Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshop.

HGV Technician Night Shift West Thurrock

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealer workshop in West Thurrock.

Applicants must hold a Level 3 HGV qualification or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: West Thurrock, Essex
Salary: £62,400 basic (£30.00 per hour)
OTE: £70,000
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00pm 6:30am | 40 hours per week
Overtime: Time and a half

• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience using computer-aided diagnostic equipment
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Main dealer experience is advantageous
