Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Nights HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Sittingbourne. The role runs Monday to Friday with an 18:00 start, offering full-time temporary work and a reliable night-shift schedule.

You will complete depot-to-depot trunking, transport palletised freight, and ensure deliveries arrive on time. A valid HGV CE licence, CPC and tachograph card, and minimum 6 months of Class 1 experience are required; Palletways experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence.
• Licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Previous Palletways experience essential.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Complete depot-to-depot trunking runs efficiently and safely.
• Transport palletised freight between depots and distribution hubs.
• Ensure deliveries arrive on schedule.
• Consistent 18:00 starts.
• No handball.
• Ongoing and flexible work available.
