Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly dedicated Nightshift Gatehouse Security Officer for Uttoxeter. You will manage access control, conduct site inductions and patrols, and respond to incidents during nights.

The role requires strong customer service, robust CCTV/ground patrol experience and compliance with all site procedures. The position involves 48 hours per week on a 4-on/4-off night pattern (18:00–06:00).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front‑Line License - essential.
• A full UK Driving Licence - essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to achieve a DBS check and BS7858 vetting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, including regular patrols and logging as required.
• Brief visitors and contractors, ensure sign-in/out procedures.
• Record deliveries on site and process paperwork per procedures.
• Set and unset alarms for out-of-hours security where applicable.
• Follow site safety, quality and waste procedures.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, handovers and incident reports as required.
• Keep training records up to date, including first aid and fire marshal training.
• Maintain professional SIA standards and display licence at all times.
