Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking a Nightshift Freezer Operative at our Wimbledon warehouse to join a friendly team. This role offers a permanent contract, full training and clear progression opportunities for a positive attitude.

You will work behind the scenes to ensure smooth warehouse operations, including picking and packing frozen items for customer orders and safe stock management.

The role requires physical fitness and good English, with eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is required.
• Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Strong communication abilities and clear English.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK.
• Physically active role due to heavy lifting.
• Good standard of spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing frozen items for customer collection orders.
• Receive goods from suppliers and check against delivery notes.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Receive and store returned items with necessary documentation.
• Check stock for damage or expiry and report as required.
• Manual handling including lifting and moving products.
• Push/pull trolleys and perform physical warehouse tasks.
