Job summary

Booker Group in Inverness is seeking a Nightshift Co-Ordinator to lead a busy night team, ensure safe operations and accurate stock handling, and drive availability for customers. You will coach the night team, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with stock control and delivery teams to minimise shrinkage.

The role offers progression opportunities within Booker Group and a 5/7 operation schedule with branch-specific opening times. Training will be provided.

• Ensure the team complies with legal standards and company procedures at all times.
• Reduce stock loss by challenging causes of shrinkage and wastage.
• Reduce replenishment costs by ensuring stock is handled efficiently and space is appropriate for rate of sale.
• Collaborate with stock control and delivery teams to resolve off-sales issues.
• Maintain product availability for customers through effective replenishment

A challenging role that will need leadership and drive as you coach your team to deliver great on shelf availability for our valued customers. Keeping your teamfocused on delivering great results and working in a safe mannerwill be key.The role may involve some duty managementwhere full training will be given.

Main Responsibilities

Working alongside the nightshift supervisor and in their absence you will be responsible for

• Ensure that the team comply with legal standards and company procedures at all times.
• Reduce stock loss by challenging causes of shrinkage and wastage
• Reduce replenishment costs, by ensuring stock is handled efficiently at all times, products have appropriate space for rate of sale and accuracy and security in the goods receiving department
• Work with the stock control and delivery teams to resolve causes of off-sales
• Effective replenishment to ensure that the branch maintains availability for our customers

You will need

To be successful in this role your skills and experience will include:

Passionate about providing exceptional operations standards for our customers

Flexible, adaptable and enjoys working with, as well, managing a team

An excellent communicator and have some experience in supervising or managing a team.

Practical experience in the food retail trade.
