Job summary

InPost Ltd. is seeking Night Warehouse Operatives for our Stockton depot, to join a fast-paced inbound parcel sorting team. You will work nights, supporting efficient parcel operations across a national logistics network, with duties including sorting, labeling, loading and unloading parcels while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Location is Stockton on Tees, TS18 2SG. Shift pattern is 5 days over 7 with hours from 00:30am to 09:00am.

Responsibilities

• Work within inbound warehouse operation to process parcels efficiently and accurately.
• Sort incoming parcels manually and with warehouse machinery, directing items to correct area for onward processing.
• Check parcel labels and relabel items as required for accurate processing and delivery.
• Load and unload inbound deliveries safely and efficiently, handling parcels with care.
• Carry out general warehouse duties to support smooth operation and maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets with high accuracy and support colleagues.
• Report any damaged, incorrectly labelled or sorted parcels to the relevant team member.

About the role:

InPost is seeking skilled and motivated Night Warehouse Operatives to become an integral part of our dynamic Inbound Parcel Sorting Team at our Stockton depot. In this role, you’ll be working alongside InPost and its valued customers to support our efficient parcel operations.

Location: InPost, Sedgefield Way, Stockton on Tees, TS18 2SG

Shift Pattern: Work 5 days over 7

Hours: 00:30am - 09:00am

Salary: £13.22 per hour

What you’ll be doing:

• Working within the inbound warehouse operation to ensure parcels are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Sorting incoming parcels manually and using warehouse machinery, ensuring items are directed to the correct area for onward processing.
• Checking parcel labels and relabelling items where required to ensure accurate processing and delivery.
• Loading and unloading inbound deliveries safely and efficiently, handling parcels with care at all times.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties to support the smooth running of the operation and maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures, operational processes and company guidelines.
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets, maintain high levels of accuracy and support colleagues across the warehouse.
• Reporting any damaged, incorrectly labelled or incorrectly sorted parcels to the relevant team member.
