Transport Clerk – Keep Our Operations Moving!

2X Shift Patterns available:

  1. Shift A - Monday to Friday 17:00-01:30 at Hub 4 site
  2. Shift B - Friday to Monday 17:00-03:30 at Hub 5 Site

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Join our dynamic Traffic Office Team and play a vital role in ensuring our HGV drivers and trailers arrive on time, keeping our operations efficient and seamless.

Your Impact:

As a Transport Clerk, you’ll be the heartbeat of our logistics team, ensuring our Linehaul routes operate as planned. You’ll track drivers’ arrivals, dispatch routes, and keep vital departments informed—helping us deliver exceptional service every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordination & Communication: Work closely with Hub and Network Operations, Transport, and Security teams, ensuring updates on arrivals or any issues are shared promptly to keep operations flowing.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Perform licence checks for agency drivers, ensuring we stay compliant with O Licence Regulations.
  • Administrative Support: Handle telephone queries, emails, and dispatch drivers, keeping everything organised.
  • Operational Assistance: Support Transport Shift Managers and Operations Managers with essential administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a fast-paced transport environment.
  • Strong communication skills—you’ll liaise with people at all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities, thriving under tight deadlines.
  • Solid computer skills—proficiency in Google Chrome applications is a must!
