What are the duties and responsibilities for thisTracking Coordinator (Nights) role?

Working at the core of a busy logistics operation, your mission is to ensure the seamless movement of goods from A to B – across borders, airspace, and time zones. You’ll be the link between customers, drivers, and carriers, keeping everyone informed and everything on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Entering and updating data on the internal systems with accuracy and speed
  • Communicating clearly and confidently with customers and internal departments
  • Raising quotes, planning transport, and ensuring paperwork is complete (especially for EU movements)
  • Closing off jobs with full supporting documentation – think proof of delivery, purchase orders, and more
  • Monitoring high-priority freight and escalating any risk to delivery (like line stoppages) swiftly and calmly
  • Working alongside 1–2 others on the night shift to keep everything flowing
The kind of person we’re looking for in thisTracking Coordinator (Nights) role
  • You’re cool-headed and focused – even when the pressure’s on
  • You’re well-organised, reliable, and don’t miss the small stuff
  • You’re a clear communicator, both on the phone and over email
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and pride in your work
  • You’ve got a ‘get it done’ attitude – proactive, practical, and positive
  • Ideally, you have logistics or transport experience (UK, EU, or worldwide)
  • Previous experience in administration or customer service is essential
  • Able to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
  • Must be computer literate including MS Office, email, spreadsheets and databases
  • Second language is an advantage
