Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a confident Nights Support Worker at The Old Vicarage, a specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities. You will work 40 hours per week on 4 x 12-hour night shifts, nights only, providing compassionate care.

You will support individuals with complex needs, follow care plans, monitor welfare, and report on medical needs. DBS check required; overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.
• Excellent communication and team skills.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check.

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.

The Old Vicarage

is a specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. We provide specialist care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.

You will be working 40 hours per week, across 4 x 12-hour night shifts, working nights only.

Our resident profile:

• Adults from the age of 18+ years
• Individuals with a primary diagnosis of learning disability, accompanied with behaviours that challenge, e including mental illness or a forensic background
• Individuals with a secondary diagnosis of personality disorder or autism
• May have communication challenges
• May have associated complex needs

Pay:

• Salary: £13.15 Per Hour
• Rising to £13.45 after 3 months
