Job summary

Senior Care Assistant Nights at Seagrave House Care Home in Corby are needed to support residents with personal care and daily living tasks in a warm, compassionate team.

You will work with the care team to monitor wellbeing, support medication needs, and participate in monthly evaluations, ensuring a safe, respectful environment for residents, relatives and staff at Avery Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support and work with the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
• Monitor wellbeing and update care plans as needed with monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervision and support staff development.
• Act as key contact for residents, relatives and health/social care professionals.
